i’m smack dab in the middle of working 11 days in a row so i can have my birthday off on friday. yesterday and today, interviewed high school students for foreign exchange programs, began to realize that i’m closer to some of their parents in age than the students themselves. five interviews in six hours today, totally burnt out by the end, but thankfully my last interview was the best. this kid’s mom and i tried to convince him that he should learn to cook for his eventual ladyfriend; i compromised and said he should at least do the dishes (it works for me). phone interview tomorrow morning, three loads of laundry, another full day of work. let’s hope i make it to friday.
